9,7% growth of tourists in the winter season

“For now, our researches reveral a growth of tourism despite the crisis and even before the end of March”, announced the vice-chief executive officer of the National agency for tourism Stanislav Novakov during the tourism expo in Berlin.

He was resolute that the discounts at the moment are final. The tendency is for a gradual change from earlier reservations to last minute reservations.

“Bulgaria and Turkey are shaping up to be some of the biggest winners of this year’s ITB expo in Berlin”, says Donka Sokolova, chairman of BATA. A drop of tourists in Bulgaria is a fact for all countries, but for some the crisis is continuous between 70 and 90%. Bulgaria succeeded in holding the process.
