Kavarna receives “Flag of Honour” from the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly

The press center of the municipality of Kavarna announced that the administration will receive a “Flag of Honour” from the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly at an official ceremony.

The prestigious award will be given to the mayor of the municipality Tsonko Tsonev by Libert Kuatrekazas – honorary member of the Council of Europe.

Kuatrekazas is a former Spanish representative, chairman of the Congress of local and regional authorities in the Council of Europe and chairman of the Committee of environment issues, agriculture and regional issues of the Parliamentary Assembly.

The “Flag of Honour” is the second award for the municipality of Kavarna from the Council of Europe. The first was the European Diploma, which the administration of Kavarna received in October 2007.
