The vicepremier Meglena Plugchieva lectured in front of young audience in the university of Veliko Tarnovo “St. Kiril and Metodii”. The lecture was on “The challenges for Bulgaria when absorbing european funds” and was discussed in front of a massive audience of young people in lecture hall 321.

The lecture was opened personally by the rector - prof. Plamen Lekgostup, who announced the third person of fame to come during the initiative to introduce students to successful people - politicians, scientists, etc. The first two were the president Georgi Parvanov and prof. Carl Djerassi.

Meglena Plugchieva inrtoduced briefly the features of each fund - FAR, ISPA, SAPARD - and the difficulties that the government faced when they had to absorb them.
