The credit rating of the Sofia municipality “BB+” is kept, announced the vice-mayor Minko Gerdzhikov at a press conference. For us that is very important in the conditions of a lower credit rating of the country as a whole and in other municipalities.

According to him, the credit rating will allow the municipality access to cheap credit resource.

Among the leading factors for the maintained credit rating of the municipality is the higher income rate. The eventual lowering of the credit rating of the Sofia municipality is possible if the income in the budget lowers, said Gerdzhikov.

He gave the taxes for garbage as an example, which are a third of the income of the municipality.
