The mayor of Sofia Boiko Borisov met the president of FIBA Europe George Vasilakopulos, who is on an official visit in Bulgaria for the 90th anniversary of basketball in Bulgaria.

The general secretary of FIBA-Europe Nar Zanolin, the sports director Kosta Iliev and others are also in the foreign delegation.

The delegation was taken to the mayor by the president of the Bulgarian basketball federation Mihail Mikov.

Boiko Borisov gave George Vasilakopulos the crest of Sofia, and the mayor of Sofia received a golden symbol for the 90th anniversary of Bulgarian basketball from Mihail Mikov.
