Young swimmers bested four national records

The young swimmers of the Mladost 91 team from Plovdiv bested four national records in the national individual and team championship for young swimmers.

Yordan Krastev bested the 27 year old record in the 100 m. butterfly.

He fixated a time of 1:00.92 minutes. The previous record belongs to Georgi Mihalev (team Chernomoretz) – 1:01:85 in 1982. Krastev also broke the 50 m. freestyle record – 25,66 seconds, his result being better than the one set by Hristo Ivanov (team Vihren) – 25,76 seconds in 2004.

The youth relay race 4×50 m. freestyle (N. Dimitrov, Z. Mesrobovic, Y. Krastev, P. Suharev) bested their own previous record, crossing the final line at 1:48.66 minutes.

The same quartet, at the 4 x 50 m. mixed race, bested the record of the team Chernomoretz from 1991 (2:02.20), finishing the race at 2:00,08 minutes.
