The russian theatre on the stage of the National opera and ballet

The russian theatre “Helikon – Opera” is a guest on the stage of the National opera and ballet. The play is “Boris Godunov” from Modest Musogorski. Their coming is in the framework of the Year of Russia in Bulgaria.

The whole cast of actors of “Helikon – Opera” will participate in the play, including the unique bass singers the theatre amassed during the years. Director of the play is the head of the theatre – Dmitry Bertman.

The story is based off real historical events in Russia at the end of the XVI century.
