The project “The face of bulgarian cinema” starts today at the Home of cinema. Documentary, animated and featured short films of young directors will be shown.

The films are made by university students as their graduation works, they are first or second films of young directors from NATFIZ, the New bulgarian university, the Southwestern university of Blagoevgrad, and some films made with the aid of the National cinema centre and BNT.

“This particoloured picture will outline the “Face of the young bulgarian cinema” and will be the ground for discussion about the successes, problems, hardships both technical and administrative; everything that the young authors face when making their attempts at professional cinema.

Enetering the professional cinema will be the topic of the round table of “The face of young bulgarian cinema”, that will take place at the end of November in the ‘Sredets’ hall of the Ministry of culture”, added Liudmila Dyakova – editor-in-chief of the magazine “Cinema”.
