The Bulgarian economics are 64,6% “free”, according to the Index of economical freedom, announced by the “Heritage” foundation and “Walstreet Journal”.

This result ranks Bulgaria 56th in the world, among 183 researched countries – next to Peru and Malaysia.

Bulgaria’s result is 0.9% higher than last year’s, because of the improved business freedom and the fiscal freedom. Bulgaria is 26th among 43 countries in Europe, with a result close to Portugal’s.
