The contract for “South stream” – signed in Plovdiv

The contract for the construction of the gas pipeline “South stream” will be signed in Plovdiv, said the Serbian minister of energetics Peter Shkundrich after talking with the vice-general director of “Gazprom” Alexander Medvedev in Belgrad.

“Gazprom” intends to finish “South stream” by 2015. The signing of the contract for “South stream” will take place by the end of April in Plovdiv, in the presence of the presidents of all countries related to the pipeline project.

The talks between the Serbian minister of energetics and the vice-general director of “Gazprom” also revealed that the final plans for the course of the pipeline will be presented at the forum in Plovdiv. The announcement for the increase of capacity of “South stream” is also expected during the forum.
