Bulgaria college activiry will be monitored
A software program maintaining an electronic database is going to be introduced in all college dormitories in Bulgaria, according to a Cabinet decision announced by Bulgaria’s Education Minister Daniel Vulchev.
The software will provide continuous information about the dormitories’ available rooms and the distribution of those rooms.
According to the Education Minister, the software would limit to a minimum the renting of the rooms to individuals who are not registered as college students. The latest data shows that currently 5% of all rooms are used by people who are not students.
Vulchev further stated that the dormitories’ renovation would not lead to rent increases, because it was done by the use of the State budget.
The Cabinet has also decided to limit the rent amounts to a certain level.
