Stefan Georgiev and Maria Kirkova first at the slaloms in Greece

The captain of the national skiing team Stefan Georgiev won today’s slalom, part of the scheduled FIS competitions, in Voras (Greece).

The 32 year old skier from Sofia left Kiril Manolov behind him with 19 hundreths of the second. Filip Mlinesek (Slovenia) is third.

The success of Georgiev is his third in the slalom for the season and 38th in FIS in the most technical discipline. Maria Kirkova finished first in the women slalom.

On April 12th, Bulgaria’s best female skier won the first slalom in Voras. With this success, the victories of Kirkova for the season become eight, or 24 in total for her career.
