Sergey Stanishev will participate in the UN General Assembly session

The Prime-Minister of Bulgaria Sergey Stanishev has arrived yesterday evening at the ‘Kennedy’ airport in New York for his participation in the 63rd regular meeting of the United Nations General Assembly.

The Prime-Minister’s programme includes participation in the morning session of the common debate of the forum and in the pursuing events to the High-level meeting on Millennium Development Goals on subject ‘Fund for achieving Millennium Development Goals: lessons learned and future plans’.

The Premier will speak to his colleagues from Malta and Denmark Dr. Laurens Gonzi and Andres Fogh Rasmussen.

The same day he will open and exhibition on occasion of the 100th anniversary from Bulgaria’s Independence proclamation in ‘Scandinavian House’ in New York.
