The participants in the 15th regular session of the Committee for Observation in SAPARD were informed of the fact that 3509 Bulgarian projects with a total investment value of 2.8 billion leva were approved.

The Vice Premier of Bulgaria Meglena Plugchieva said that the amount of work done by the SAPARD agency and by the Ministry of Agriculture was huge, having in mind the control exerted in the application of the programme and the strengthening of the administrative capacity.

The head of the SAPARD programme – Dimitar Ivanovski – informed that the audit results from ‘Ernst & Young’ were expected today. He also noted the positive effects from the last months in the mutual work between the institutions, engaged in the application of the programme.
