To this day, a total of 3509 SAPARD projects have been approved, and their total value is estimated to be 1,376 billion leva, announced from the press centre of the Ministry of agriculture and foods.

The ministry reminds that the European Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development Mariann Fischer Boel sent a special letter to the Minister of agriculture and foods Valery Tsvetanov, that announced the continuation of the project for yet another year.

During this period, 720 projects worth 281 million leva will be provided for.

This is about one fifth of the total realized resource for projects of the SAPARD program.
