National culture holidays “Albena” 2008

“Albena 2008” National Culture holidays will be in Kavarna this year on September 20 and 21. The moving exhibition of the present-day Bulgarian artists will be opened on September 20, 6 PM in “Retro” art-club.

The exhibition shows drawings and sculptures of Borislav Stoev, Dimitar Sotirov, Luben Zidarov, Zlati Zlatev, Cvetan Kazandjiev and many more.

At 6:30 PM will begin the literary-musical performance of outstanding Bulgarian authors and writers. Anton Donchev, Haigashot Agasyan, Evrim Evtimov, Victor Paskov, Margarita Petkova and more will be among the guests of the event.

On Semptember 21 the participants in the festival will visit the archeological reserve “Yailata” at the cape Kaliakra, where at 11 o’clock they will perform a show in front of the Byzantine fortress.

The festival will last 10 days and will spread 11 towns in the country – Silistra, Dobrich, Varna, Balchik, Kavarna, Targovishte, Shumen, Veliko Tarnovo, Ruse, General Toshevo and Tutrakan.
