“Kremikovtzi” protesting again

Submitted on Friday, 3 April 2009No Comment

Workers in the factory “Kremikovtzi” will protest in front of the Parliament and the Coucil of ministers once again in attempt to save their working place and the jobs of thousands.

Yesterday, the chairman of the National assembly Georgi Pirinski promised to form a working group that will discuss the situation of “Kremikovtzi”. Earlier that day, an announcement was released to the public that last Tuesday the Brazilian company CNC sent a proposal for an agreement to take the operative duties of the factory.

As late as Wednesday next week it will be made clear if “Kremikovtzi” will continue to function or will be done for after a long time of agonizing. Wednesday marks the last day of fuel shipments by “Bulgargaz” for the factory.
