The Day of Bulgaria, traditionally organized by the National agency for informational technologies (DAITS) at one of the largest expos of informational technologies in the world – CeBIT 2009 in Germany – attracted the interest of both foreign and Bulgarian participants in the event.

Despite the fact that the audience of the expo this year has dropped by a quarter compared to last year, the event organized by DAITS was visited by a larger number of active participants in comparison with past years.

The Day of Bulgarian informational and communication industry (ICT) was opened by the vice-chairman of DAITS Krasimir Simonski. He presented ICT programs and projects aimed at the improvement of conditions for the Bulgarian IT sector as a part of the governmental politics concerning informational technologies.
