“The privatisation of “Bulgartabak” will be done by this summer”, said the chief executive of the holding Kornelia Ninova in today’s issue of the newspaper Standard.

The holding will be sold thoroughly by the Agency for privatisation.

A contest for the firm that will evaluate “Bulgartabak” before the opening of the procedure is already taking place. The method of sale will probably be a one-stage contest.

The new brand of cigarettes, offered by the company, will hit the market in February or March. It will be the lightest variation of “Eva”, with 0,1 milligrams of nicotine and one milligram tar – the so-called “Eva-one”.
