Boney M open the Festival of sand sculptures in Burgas

On July 2nd, the disco legends Boney M will open the second edition of the Festival of sand sculptures in Burgas.

A statue of a 8,5 m. tall tree will be placed in the middle of the sand city. A nest with two storks, symbols of happiness and hope, will be placed in the branches of the tree.

The entire composition of 28 sculptures will be arranged in a spiral form, forming a figurative sun clock. During the day, the tree of happiness will point at the different figures according to the time.

Bulgarian and foreign investors participate in the construction of the sand-themed event. 3300 tons of sand will be used for the making of the sculptures.
