Alexandra Zhekova classified for the elimination phase of the bordercross of the World snowboarding championship, after overcoming the qualifications.

Zhekova ranked 14th, finishing 2,66 seconds after the best in the qualifications – Olivia Nobs (Switzerland). Thus, the best Bulgarian snowboarder found her place in the top 16.

At the quarterfinals today Zhekova starts in the third series along with the strong snowboarders from Switzerland Alexandra Frei and Simona Myler and the French Dian Termoz.
