The idea is still just a project, but it’s approval will come in the months ahead, announced the mayor of the city Petko Arnaudov. In the beginning of it’s functioning, the customs office and the port administration will be serviced by officials from the municipality of Burgas. After a period of training, they will leave those duties to local employees. The working places will be no less than thirty.

In several days, the Municipal administration will receive approvals for the exploitability of the fishing port and the port for public transport. The municipality will apply for funding of 8 million leva from European funds to work on a fishing quay and the needed facilities.
