15 million leva invested into three industrial zones near Sofia

The government will supply over 15 million leva for the construction of watter-supply and sewerage infrastructure in three municipalities that work on projects for industrial zones.

The zones are in Elin Pelin, Pernik and Kostinbrod. The press centre of the government announces that two thousand working places are expected to be open after the projects are finished.

Yesterday, the minister of economics and energetics Petar Dimitov, mayors and investors signed a contract for financial aid. Minister Dimitrov said that up to now, nine projects for industrial zones were realized, and they were funded by the government with 50 million leva. Next year’s investments of the government in the field will be 20 million leva.

The minister also announced that the Council of ministers will discuss the export strategy. It envisions the creation of a specialized enterprise that deals with industrial zone creation. The enterprise will be funded with 100 million leva. Dimitrov specified, that in a few years, there won’t be a single Bulgarian municipality without an industrial zone.
