Submitted on Monday, 17 August 2009No Comment

A financial institution in Sofia purchases thousands of apartments from firms that are forced to sell their property cheap because of the crisis. This was announced by Plamen Beninski, chairman of the Bulgarian association of construction companies, in front of the Bulgarian national radio. He admitted that the business works under the pressure of a crisis market situation.

“I can say for sure, that there is a company whose goal is to purchase 3000 apartments in Sofia”, said Plamen Beninski and clarified that it is a foreign investment fund. He was reluctant to say the name of the company, however.

The purchases of the aforementioned 3000 apartments began in the spring of this year. The company has been on the Bulgarian market for several years.
