12 cinema classics at the Sofia Film Fest

Sofia Film Fest will present the most successful movie adaptation of the novel of Mikhail Bulgakov “The Master and Margarita” on March 21st 2009 at 21:00 in the Home of cinema.

The long-time partnership between Sofia Film Fest and the Bulgarian National Television decided to support one of the most successful and highly rated campaigns of BNT “The Great Reading” by presenting the 12 favorite novels of Bulgarians and their writers with documentaries about them, created by popular modern TV and cinema directors. This event will take place on February 28th 2009 in the Home of Cinema.

The likes of Petar Popzlatev, Stefan Komandarev, Stoyan Radev, Boiko Vasilev, Svetoslav Draganov, Milena Andonova, Andrey Slabakov, Atanas Dimitrov, Boris Despodov, Vladimir Liutskanov, Lachezar Avramov and Milko Lazarov voiced their support for the books through the creation of short movies.
