A record-setting number of people visited the historical fortress during the last three days.

This was announced by the director of the Regional history museum of Veliko Tarnovo Ivan Tsurov. He revealed that the number of visitors on May 1st were 5200, and yesterday – 5300.

Tsurov considers these numbers to be new records.

“All museums are open and working at their usual schedule”, said Ivan Tsurov and added that the visits in the History museum of Veliko Tarnovo itself aren’t as interesting for tourists as the visits of the cultural monuments themselves. Tsarevets and Arbanasi are a preferred destination, concluded the director of the Regional history museum of Veliko Tarnovo.
