The only woman to ever attain the title DJ of the year of the prestigious magazine DJ Mag – the renown Smokin Jo will rock the club Escape the coming Saturday.

On February 7th, the Sofia club will be the top party destination, presenting a legend of the international dance scene. Smokin Jo, with a real name Joanne Joseph fell in love with house music in the beginning of the 90’s. She noted the lack of women DJs and immediately buys the necessary equipment – if men can do it, so can she.

The unyielding beauty (she worked for Storm Model Agency and was a model for the advertising campaign of the video game Mortal Combat) quickly rises among the previously male DJ territory with a stage name taken from the boxer Smoking Joe Fraser.
