Bulgaria has one of the highest employment levels in the EU
The level of employment in Bulgaria is among the highest in the EU and reaches nearly 64%.
The employment of people between 15 and 64 years has increased with 2.3% for the second quarter of the year in comparison with the same time period in 2007.
This was announced by the Labour and Social Policy under secretary Lazar Lazarov at the opening of the conference вЂFlexibility and security: the key instrument for developing employment at local level’.
The main topic of the forum will be the way efforts for achieving better flexibility and security can be supported by stimulating local employment development and Bulgaria’s experience in this direction.
