The registration of the Blue coalition for the parliamentary elections – rejected

The Central Election Committee rejected the registration of the “Blue coalition” for the upcoming elections for National parliament.

This was announced by Ralitsa Negentsova, spokesperson for the Central Election Committee.

The registration application was not apporved of by the required two thirds of the committee.

The decision can be appealed against, added Negentsova.

She explained for news.bg that the objections of the committee members that rejected the registrations were connected to the unsolved court case of the coalition management.

On practice, this means that the registration was denied because of the court controversy around the new chairman of SDS Martin Dimitrov and the still non-existing legal registration of the coalition.
