The annual growth of the leasing market in Bulgaria is between 50 and 60 percent, this being the trend during the last few years. This was announced by Plamen Minev, chief executive director of ‘Unicredit leasing”. The financial institution signed a contract with the European investment bank for a credit line of 80 million euro.

During the last few years, the leasing markets in Central and Eastern Europe have grown between 20 and 30 percent each year. This explains the 50-60 percent growth of the leasing market in Bulgaria each year. According to Plamen Minev of “Unicredit leasing”, the worldwide crisis slows down the tempo of the leasing market, and many of the clients in the real sector re-evaluated and slowed down their investment politics.
