On October 24th, the nuclear power plant “Kozloduy” paid off the loan for modernization of 5th and 6th block of the central 12 years earlier. This was the answer of the executive director of the power plant Ivan Genov to a question by the newspaper Monitor about the financial status of the nuclear power plant.

The aforementioned money are the 80 million credit, guaranteed by the country, that the government negotiated with the Export-import bank of the Russian federation (“Rosexim”). The money were provided for the modernization of the 5th and 6th block of the power plant.
