Somali pirates demand up to two million dollars ransom for the abducted cargo ship “Malaspina castle” and it’s crew, which consists of Bulgarian, Russian, Ukrainian, Indian and Filipino sailors.

The pirates want a ransom of 1,5 to 2 million dollars and suggest that the negotiations be carried out by Kenyan and British lawyers.

The Bulgarian ship sailing under the Panamanian flag was abducted by Somali pirates on April 6th. The crew of the vessel consists of twenty four people, sixteen of them being Bulgarian citizens.
