European project will develop the rural regions near Chepelare

The local initative committee “Chepelare” won a project for development of the rural region.

The project will be realized within the territories of the municipalities Banite, Luki and Chepelare.

The European agriculture fund finances the program for development of the rural regions in the period 2007 – 2013. The total cost of the project is 186 251 leva.

The goal of the project is to develop a strategy for the development of the three municipalities. Chepelare is the leading one in the initiative.

With the help of the European project, the region will be better liked by tourists and investors alike.
