Concert in memory of Michael Jackson in Sofia

A concert is being held to honour the memory of Michael Jackson on July 31 at the Sofia Live Club, Bulgarian National Radio reported.

The free event will be staged by Bulgarian singers to celebrate the life and music of the late King of Pop. Kamelia Todorova, Maria Ilieva, Bulgarian band Te as well as other performers will gather to pay their respects to the star, performing some of his most popular and acclaimed hits.

A total of 25 Michael Jackson songs will be performed, in addition to some of Jackson’s most popular videos, which will be screened as well.

The Sofia Live Club was opened for business only last week. It is under the National Palace of Culture, by the main fountains. It has seating for 270 people, and is open from 8pm until 4am.
