Clothing shops in Sofia offer discounts up to 90%

Shops on the big shopping streets in the Bulgarian capital offer advantageous discounts on clothing and shoes. Bargain sells however, extend only to summer merchandise, reports the Agency “Focus”. Because of the great discounts, the number of buyers hasn’t dropped significantly. The interest of customers is piqued by the cheaper stock.

The discounts on the streets “Graf Ignatriev”, “Solunska”, “Pirotska”, “Vitosha” blvd., begin from 20% and reach up to 90%. The discounts between 50% and 70% are most frequent.

Most shops massively drop by 50% the prices of the summer stock, in order to avoid having to sell it next summer again, when it will be even harder to sell.

Profitable offers of the type “Everything between 8 and 14,90 lv.”, “Buy two – get three”, “Shocking discounts” or “Liquidation” adorn the shop windows.

Shopkeepers have already brought out the collections for autumn-winter 2009-2010. Their prices, however, are still relatively high.
