Bulgaria allocates 300 thousand leva per year for refugee integration. The funds are spent on paying off the scholarships of refugees that study Bulgarian, lodgings rent and healthcare, said Anna Andreeva of the National agency for refugees at a press conference today.

Up to now, that sum has never been used to it’s fullest extent, because the refugees in Bulgaria are not so many, added she. This year, Bulgaria also used funds from the European refugee fund – 500 thousand euro, 25% of which were co-financed by the government.
