25 million euro from the EU for the restoration and development of the rural regions

Two hundred billion euro, or 1,5% of the Gross domestic product (GDP) of the European union will be used for the European plan for economical restoration.

The idea is to help the countries in the European union adapt to the current economical challenges.

Over a billion of the total sum will be provided for the European agriculture fund for the development of rural regions.

The cabinet of the vice-prime minister Meglena Plugchieva announced that according to unofficial information, the funds for Bulgaria will be between 25 and 35 million euro for the period 2009-2010.
