The website of the municipality of Burgas announces the municipality’s plans to make the Sea garden of Burgas larger. The ambitious plan foresees many innovations and improvements of the zone south from the region of the Black Sea salterns – the natural continuation of the seaside park.

The close proximity of the Atanasov’s lake allows the construction of a resort balneology zone with a park, where balneotherapy will be performed. Sport devices and other attractions will also be constructed.

According to plan, the railway in the region will be moved to the west, to allow access to the coast and the trains will be turned into attractional ones, connecting the park and the district Sarafovo. A cycling alley and a bird observatory will be constructed. The park will also offer opportunities for horse rides.
