The new urbanization plan of Burgas was officially presented. The main goal of this plan is to turn Burgas into one of the greenest cities in Europe.

The planned changes include changing the transport layout of the city and the moving of automobiles outside the urbanized territory. Over the next 25 to 30 years, the factory zones will be moved outside of the city zone.

The three lakes of Burgas will be turned into active tourism zones for water sports and recreation. A golfing ground will be constructed near Tvarditsa.

The new districts Vetren and Banevo will be turned into attractive zones for recreation and spa tourism. Rehabilitation centers will be also established in these places. Other resorts, public service zones and vacation villages are planned.

Lovers of sport fishing and yachts will be satisfied and the Mandrensko lake.
