The motorcycling World cup begins with Grand Prix Bulgaria 2009

The president of the Bulgarian Motorcycling Federation Bogdan Nikolov announced that the motorcycling track “Gorna Rositsa” in the city Sevlievo will be the host of two international motocross championships on April 4th and 5th.

Grand Prix Bulgaria 2009 will mark the beginning of the woman championship and will be the second round of the championship for the elite men championships MX1 and MX2.

The chairman of the Organization committee of Grand Prix Bulgaria Rumen Petkov elaborated on the various improvements of the racing grounds this year, which almost make it an entirely new racing track.

The mayor of Sevlievo Yordan Stoikov added, that the pitline was widened, and that 92% of the track is entirely made of sand.
