The monsters from Lordi rocked Sofia

The Finnish band Lordi, which gained worldwide fame thanks to the Eurovision competition, blew away the audience of the “Hristo Botev” hall in Sofia on March 6th. Huge fires and pyro effects awed the audience during each song.

The Italians Brandon Ashley and the Silverbug opened the concert, which began nearly an hour later than planned. The band was very eager to play, but they were unfamiliar to the audience and not as well received as the second band -Fatal Smile. The second band was loudly cheered by local fans, proving that heavy metal was still alive and here to stay.

A little before 21:00 PM, the lights of the decorated stage shined in blinding blue. Seconds after that, Lordi went onstage surrounded by pyroeffects and fires. The audience was intrigued by their signature stage costumes. The musicians rocked the audience with a selection of their repertoire and onstage scenarios for each song.
