The citizens living in the “Slavia” district in Sofia began the construction of a mini-park, said for BTA one of the initiators of the project – Rodopi Tilov.

We try to refine about 5 decares of space between the blocks – we take care of the grass, we plant flowers and trim the trees and weeds. The author of the project, Zhana Yaneva is also a resident of the district.

Everything is done voluntarily and by an ever growing number of people – both young and old.

Apparently, everyone is sick of living among thrash, says Rodopi Tilov. He clarified, that his son’s family lives in Ireland. When Rodopi went to visit him, he saw the way they maintain their cities. Now he says he will be ashamed to invite his grandchildren to Sofia, if it doesn’t look the same way.
