The Bulgarian medics want compensations from Libya
The five Bulgarian nurses and the Palestinian doctor will demand millions of euro as compensations from Libya for the eight years of prison they had to endure unjustly. This was announced by their Dutch lawyer.
In a letter to the leader of Libya – Muammar al-Gaddafi, Lisbet Segweld wants “humanitary and financial help” that will help the six “unjustly arrested and sentenced” to death to “restore their lives back to normal”.
“Not only our clients still relieve the stress they had to endure from unjust arrest and constant threat of execution, but also the numerous instances of torture”, states the lawyer’s letter.
