According to Galabitsa Todeva, museum specialist from the Museum complex in Bansko and tourist guide in the House-museum “Nikola Vaptsarov”, the summer is the most active season for the museums in the resort.

The house-museum “Nikola Vaptsarov” is visited by 7-8 thousand people per year. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of the poet Nikola Vaptsarov, which will be celebrated with a special program.

The visitors of the entire Museum complex is about 25 thousand people per year. Galabitsa Todeva explained, that the winter season is usually very busy, but mostly with skiers. According to her, very few of them find time to visit the museums. “The active tourism season for the museums begins in the spring with the massive groups of students”, explained she.
