‘Spirit of Burgas’ 2008 has been nominated for the ‘Best festival of the year’ prize. The prestigious chart belongs to the European festival association. The Bourgas festival will compete with the biggest music forums in Europe which have been competing for the prize for years.

The first stage of the voting will end on October 13 when only the first 10 festivals will go to the finals. The winner will be determined on October 20 on an award ceremony in the London club IndigO2. The event is one of a kind and among the most prestigious in Europe. Currently, the tickets are almost sold out.
