The Road police in Sofia will work towards the restriction of large vehicles (such as jeeps) blocking the roads in front of night clubs. The minister of internal affairs Mikhail Mikov gave several new trucks and 50 motorcycles BMW to the road police.

Fining with an electronic ticket will be experimentally introduced next month. While presenting the new system, Mikov said that So far, eight policemen have been taught to work with the new fining devices.

The online payment of fines will also be introduced within a month, after the latest changes in the laws for traffic have been approved.
