The mayor of Vidin Rumen Vidov announced the beginning of an informational campagin for the referendum on April 26th. The topic of discussion will be the initiative for construction of a university in Vidin.

Prof. Dimitar Stoyanov, who contributed on the project and creation of an European-Swiss technics university, prof. Petar Balkanski, who worked on the Strategy for education in the municipality of Vidin and Nikolai Tabakov – owner of the publishing company “Anubis” attended today’s press conference.

The mayor of Vidin noted, that the referendum relies mostly on the participation of citizens. He explained that so far he has met school principals of all national schools on the territory of the municipality of Vidin, representatives from non-profit organizations, managers of firms in the municipality, leaders of community centers in the municipality, etc.
