The Italian specialist Silvano Prandi was officially chosen for a national selectionist of the Bulgarian volleyball team and is going to lead it during the next two years.

The managing committee of the Bulgarian volleyball federation approved his candidature on its conference today. The contract with the famous specialist is for two years, but it can be automatically prolonged if Bulgaria does well on the European Championship in Poland in 2009 and on The World Championship in Italy in 2010.

Prandi, who is famous in the volleyball circles as ‘The Professor’ is an ex-player and a present volleyball coach.
