An additional area of about 700 000 ares were reaped this year. When compared to the amounts in 2007, the destructive fires have decreased by almost a quarter.

The information comes from the analysis of the National agency “Fire safety and emergency” on their attempts for better reactions during the reaping season.

The ares destroyed by fires are noticeably less, and the administrative measures to prevent them – noticeably more, according to the gathered analysis.
