19 degrees in Veliko Tarnovo
A record-setting hight temperature was registered in Veliko Tarnovo today, announced the Bulgarian national radio (BNR).
The thermometers of the city registered 19 degrees above zero, which is a record-setting value for the entire history of metheorological research. On the same day in 1956, the previous record-setting temperature was just 13,8 degrees.
Another temperature record was registered in Pleven, where the thermometers showed 16 degrees above zero in the afternoon. The previous maximum for this day was registered 61 years ago – 14,8 degrees, added the BNR.
